The Daleks will return to face Doctor Who in the New Year's Day episode, and this Dalek is pictured getting wrapped up in the scarf Jodie Whittaker will wear during the special series finale.
Made by UK firm Paul Smith, the 'rainbow' scarf was revealed in BBC photos of Jodie promoting the episode.
The scarves immediately started selling on internet auction sites for in excess of £300. It retails for just £70 from the company's website, even less if bought from a shop.
Today (Sunday) the BBC revealed the New Year's Day special will be called 'Resolution', but gave no hints as to the storyline.
It will mark the end of Jodie's eleven-show first season as the Timelord.

A woman with the biggest collection of classic children's clothes in the UK has shown off her wardrobe fit for a little prince and princess which would make Kate Middleton envious.
Angela Lynne has spent 40 years tracking down thousands of vintage garments, including dozens of smocked romper suits which Prince George has brought back into fashion.
The grandmother-of-fourteen keeps her vast collection in the large attic of her Georgian mansion near Attleborough in Norfolk, not far from the Duchess of Cambridge, who is a huge fan of vintage kids clothing.

As Northern Ireland goes to the polls today (2 March 2017) photographer Valerio Berdini has released a photo collection exploring the troubled history of the country. Voters in Northern Ireland are voting today as part of the Assembly Election following the resignation of former Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness. Valerio comments: "As part of an ongoing series of projects exploring Brexit and the repercussion on the United Kingdom equilibrium, series explores Northern Ireland in its most controversial history". "The Troubles" is the common name for the conflict that distressed Northern Ireland. It began in the late 60s and ended with the Belfast "Good Friday" Agreement of '98.
