Amy Schumer dans l'émission de Howard Stern sur SiriusXM
Pictures must credit: The Howard Stern Show / SiriusXM Actress Amy Schumer has told of her “horrible” experience with weight-loss Ozempic thanks to a gene. The 43-year-old US comedy first started on the medication in 2022. But Schumer had to stop the once-weekly injection after suffering from extreme nausea and vomiting. Schumer later learned that she has the GDF15 hormone gene, which makes her prone to nausea and vomiting. It is produced during pregnancy, by organs under stress and by tumours. Talking about her ordeal to American DK Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show, she said GDF15 was why she was so sick when pregnant with son Gene, born in 2019. Schumer, who is married to chef Chris Fischer in 2019, said she tried Ozempic almost three years ago. She recalled: “ I was like bedridden, I was vomiting and then you have no energy but other people take it and they're all good. “I lost 30 pounds so quick. I looked great and I couldn't lift my head off the pillow, so what's the point?” © The Howard Stern Show/SiriusXM/JLPPA via Bestimage

I looked great and I couldn't lift my head off the pillow, so what's the point?”
