Former footballer David Beckham has joined the long queue in London waiting to see the coffin of Queen Elizabeth lying in state.The one-time England, Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder ,47, joined the five-mile long queue at 2am Friday morning (sept 16)The wait to see the casket was expected to be up to 14 hours.He wore a suit, heavy overcoat, black tie and flat cap.Speaking to the UK’s ITV News, he said:” I thought by coming at 2am it was going to be a little bit quieter - I was wrong."I am a huge royalist and fan of the Royal Family"."Her Majesty meant so much in so many different ways."I can speak on my behalf of the amount of times I was able to meet her through my career.”
