It would appear that this young seal is eager to hang ten with the humans - as it tries its hand at surfing. Matt Stanley and friend Andrew Flounders got the surprise of their life when the adventurous animal interrupted their surfing session near Amble in Northumberland. The pair had been out on the water enjoying the summer waves when Andrew suddenly felt something nudging his foot. Matt comments: "The look on his face was classic. He got such a fright because he didn't know what it was. Once we realised it was a seal we relaxed a bit". However, the pair were then shocked when the seal not only swam up to them but even clambered aboard Matt's board!

It would appear that this young seal is eager to hang ten with the humans - as it tries its hand at surfing. Matt Stanley and friend Andrew Flounders got the surprise of their life when the adventurous animal interrupted their surfing session near Amble in Northumberland. The pair had been out on the water enjoying the summer waves when Andrew suddenly felt something nudging his foot. Matt comments: "The look on his face was classic. He got such a fright because he didn't know what it was. Once we realised it was a seal we relaxed a bit". However, the pair were then shocked when the seal not only swam up to them but even clambered aboard Matt's board!
