    The S.S. Rick Husband Cygnus cargo ship detached from the International Space Station on Tuesday (14 June). It spent over 11 weeks attached to the ISS. It was loaded with 4,087 pounds (1,854 kilograms) of unneeded equipment, refuse, and post-space station operations experiment.

    The spacecraft was commanded to be released by NASA astronaut and ISS Commander Tim Kopra.

    S.S. Rick Husband Cygnus cargo ship leaves International Space Station - 14 Jun 2016
    The S.S. Rick Husband Cygnus cargo ship detached from the International Space Station on Tuesday (14 June). It spent over 11 weeks attached to the ISS. It was loaded with 4,087 pounds (1,854 kilograms) of unneeded equipment, refuse, and post-space station operations experiment.

    The spacecraft was commanded to be released by NASA astronaut and ISS Commander Tim Kopra.

    The Orbital Sciences Corporation Antares rocket, with the Cygnus spacecraft onboard, is seen on launch Pad-0A, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. The Antares will launch with the Cygnus spacecraft filled with over 5,000 pounds of supplies for the International Space Station, including science experiments, experiment hardware, spare parts, and crew provisions. The Orbital-3 mission is Orbital Sciences' third contracted cargo delivery flight to the space station for NASA. Launch is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 27 at 6:45 p.m. EDT.
