At The Risk Of Stating The Obvious It Should Be Pointed Out That The Reason Dennis Andries Was Able To Make History By Winning The World Light-heavyweight Title Three Times Is Because He Lost It Twice. Nine year old, tri coloured thoroubred mare gives birth against the odds to twin colts Greenvale Double Trouble One and Greenvale Double Trouble Two at Ty Llwyd Stables near Cross Hands, West Wales. Slogans: Don't say it - display it!

    STARS WEARING SLOGANS

Celebrities are well versed in the art of conversation, whether it's chatting about their latest film, their latest love or their latest scandal; however, living by the adage 'a picture paints a thousand words', these celebs have decided to let their t-shirts do the talking.

Paparazzi hounded Eva Longoria-Parker makes her feelings painfully clear.

Given the chaotic nature of Britney Spear's life some might question this statement.

Lenny Kravitz comes over all philosophical and shares his motto with the world.

Former wild child Janice Dickinson shows support for another famous teen.

Clothes horse Victoria Beckham displays what her phrase would be if she were a super hero.

Nicolette Sheridan makes sure that everyone knows exactly what to say when they try her cooking.

Perez Hilton shows his charitable side by supporting the Save Britney fund.

If only Britney knew how ironic this t-shirt would be just few short years on.

David Hasselhoff lays the rumours about his health to rest.

Hmmm we're not sure how many people will be convinced by Khloe Kardashian's statement.

A provocative Tori Spelling lays down a challenge.

Tommy Lee states the bleeding obvious.

Ðber groupie Pamela Anderson tells it like it is.

KT Tunstall brings a fresh twist to the rock and roll lifestyle.

Sharon Stone shows her cheeky (monkey) side.

Animal lover Kate Walsh lets us know what her favourite pet is.

Is Lethal Bizzle a little bitter about not getting any awards?

Natasha Beddingfield gives off some rather mixed messages.

Anastacia's low cut top means the last thing people are looking at is her slogan.

It's a case of say one thing and do the opposite for Miley Cyrus.

As befits a style queen Mary Kate ...

    MATCHING OUTFITS (4) - 2008

Fashion forward starlets know that wearing the same outfit as someone else is an occupational hazard. And it doesn't matter who wore it first, it's all about who wore it best. All that celebs can do is grit their teeth, put their best foot forward, and hope that they come out victorious.

With their long limbs and blonde hair Ashlee Simpson and A.J. Michalka look anything but grey in their ruffletastic minidresses, complete with black nails and peep toe shoes Celine Dion has a hard metal moment on stage in this embellished and studded strapless number, showing that she's still got it at 40; meanwhile, in the same dress it's amazing that a painfully thin Diane Kruger has enough flesh to keep it up.

Looking like she's wearing a sack, this grey jersey dress does absolutely nothing for Kelly Preston's figure and the tights/shoes combo is too ugly to even comment on. Sophia Bush, on the other hand, looks sophistication personified with her matchy matchy accessories and elegant updo.

The impossible to tell them apart Kristin Cavallari and Tara Conner both look bloomin lovely in their black, white and yellow floral print, but why they both chose the same hideous orthopaedic sandals is anyone's business.

Martha Higareda looks berry nice in her quality street wrapper inspired Dolce & Gabbana with pared back accessories, but an awkward looking Anne Hathaway fails to smoulder - maybe she should have worn...

SO NEAR YET SO FAR FOR HUNGRY KINGFISHER

It can be a hard life being a young kingfisher - especially when mother has other hungry mouths to feed.

This female kingfisher was caught on camera teasing one of her brood by placing a fish into its beak - only to change her mind and snatch it back.

She then flew away to feed her second brood, which were newly hatched.

These photographs were captured by photographer Richard Austin at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust's centre at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire.

He said: "It was amazing to witness the kingfishers trying to persuade the parent to give them their fish."

Mr Austin added: "Now is a great time to see kingfishers because they are heading to and from the nest every 20 minutes or so."

Ed the dog who was 'best man' at his owners wedding, Florence, Italy - Sep 2008
OUR WEDDING WAS A REAL DOG'S DINNER

When Harriet and Andrew Athay got married there was only one person they wanted acting as their best man - their pet dog Ed.

And Ed wasn't alone in walking down the aisle with his owners; the bridal party was also joined by the couple's two female dogs, Humbug and Goulash.

For terrier Ed the dress code was no top hat but two tails and he wore his very own miniature tuxedo; meanwhile, whippet Humbug and Hungarian vizsla Goulash had their very own pink sparkly collars.

Harriet and Andrew felt it was only right that the doggy trio should be at their wedding because it was they who had been instrumental in bringing the couple together in the first place.

The couple first met while they were walking their respective dogs along Mudeford Beach in Dorset in August 2007.

As their dogs played with each other Andrew and Harriet stopped to chat for a few minutes; admiring Ed's glittery collar Andrew asked Harriet where she had got it from and she revealed that she ran a pet accessories company.

Harriet thought nothing more of the encounter until the next morning when she found a new order for a pink diamante dog collar came complete with a message from Andrew asking her out for a drink.

Two weeks later Harriet and her four-legged companions Ed and Humbug met Andrew and Goulash at the Captain's Club in Christchurch.

The first awkward moments were effectively broken as the three dogs happily made friends.

With the ice broken, over the next three hours Harriet and Andrew found that it wasn't just a love of dogs that they had in common.

Following that first successful date, it wasn't long before the couple start...

An ice-skating star's baby has been born two days after she died from a brain haemorrhage. Doctors kept Jayne Soliman's heart beating until they were able to safely deliver her baby daughter Aya Jayne. Ms Soliman, 41, was just 25 weeks pregnant when she collapsed at home after complaining of a headache. She was flown by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Berkshire, but hours later was declared brain dead. As baby Aya was underdeveloped Ms Soliman was given large doses of steroids to help her baby's lungs develop. Aya was born by Caesarean section 48hrs later weighing just over 2lb. The youngster's name is a word from the Koran meaning "miracle". Doctors believe that Ms Soliman suffered a haemorrhage caused by an aggressive tumour which had struck a major blood vessel. She had shown no signs of a tumour and had seemed healthy right up until her death. In 1989 Ms Soliman was both British champion and number seven in the world for professional free skating.

MY TWINS WERE BORN TWO DAYS APART

When Hayley Phillips went into labour in her bathroom at home she believed that it wouldn't be long before she was meeting her unborn twins for the first time.

And her prediction seemed to come true when, before she even had time to get to hospital, she delivered baby Ryan right onto her bathroom floor.

Her frantic fiancé Craig Selbee, 31, immediately called for an ambulance and Miss Phillips was whisked off to hospital before the second twin arrived.

However, amazingly, when she arrived at hospital her labour had simply stopped.

When doctors examined her hours later, puzzled about why the second twin hadn't yet arrived, they made an astonishing discovery.

Hayley's uterus had closed up again and her contractions had stopped - as if she had finished giving birth.

So it was a case of waiting, and waiting. It wasn't until two days later that she finally went into labour again - giving birth to second twin Lewis.

Hayley, 23, comments: "We just couldn't believe it and neither could the doctors - they had never seen anything quite like it before.

"My body just shut back down after giving birth to Ryan. It felt so strange having given birth to one twin, yet still being pregnant with the other one.

"I nursed Ryan for nearly three days without any sign of his twin brother arriving, before I finally went into labour again on the third day".
