A self inflatable foam mattress tailored specially for two Tesla electric cars turns the boot into an overnight camper.
The multilayer mattress . Designed for Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3. levels out the vehicle with room for two in comfort.
An integrated pump inflates it in a matter of minutes and lets campers adjust the pressure at the push of a button for a better night of sleep.
The mattress has been designed by Dutch company Snuuzu.
The firm’s co-founder Omar Tegel was an early adopter of the Tesla Model S when it launched in Europe in 2013.
An instant fan of the car, over the years he began using the cars as ultralight RVs, switching them into "camper mode" while sleeping atop the folded rear seats.
To make it a more comfortable experience he began designing his own mattress being unable to find one off the shelf.
The resulting multilayer mattress design meant to be as comfortable as any home or hotel mattress that is a perfect fit for the Tesla Y
and 3.
