From Bilbo's hobbit-hole, complete with its iconic round green door and richly appointed interior, to the nine included minifigures—Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Mrs. Proudfoot, Farmer Proudfoot, Merry, Pippin, Rosie Cotton, Samwise Gamgee, and Gandalf the Grey—the set brings this iconic scene to life.

Discovery Global Consumer Products, the breathtakingly detailed Shire set recreates the festive atmosphere of Bilbo Baggins’ eleventy-first birthday celebration. From Bilbo's hobbit-hole, complete with its iconic round green door and richly appointed interior, to the nine included minifigures—Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Mrs. Proudfoot, Farmer Proudfoot, Merry, Pippin, Rosie Cotton, Samwise Gamgee, and Gandalf the Grey—the set brings this iconic scene to life.

Am Dienstag erscheinen die Lebensmittelkontrolleure der Stadt in der Filiale am HB. ´Sie teilten mir mit, dass ich in 30 Minuten alle Biere mit der Aufschrift Pilsner aus den Regalen nehmen mussª, sagt Inhaber Stefan M¸ller.
Grund ist ein Staatsvertrag zwischen der Schweiz und der damaligen Tschechoslowakei von 1976. Er sch¸tzt die Begriffe ´Pilsª und ´Pilsnerª, sie d¸rfen hier nicht auf Flaschen gedruckt werden. Im Gegenzug wurde damals die Aufschrift ´Emmentalerª in Tschechien verboten.
´Es interessiert doch keinen, wie die Tschechen ihren K‰se beschriftenª, sagt M¸ller. ´Genauso wenig k¸mmert es sie, wie unser Bier aussieht.ª Er wolle sich an Gesetze halten. ´Aber etwas zu verbieten, das keinem schadet, ist Unsinn. Vermutlich ist dem Inspektorat einfach langweilig.ª Zehn Marken sind betroffen, auch beliebte Sorten wie ´Jeverª oder ´Krombacherª. Wegschmeissen, kam f¸r den Chef nicht in Frage. ´Wir machten sie wieder verkaufstauglich.ª
Mit Stift und Klebern ¸berdeckten sie alle verbotenen Begriffe. ´Das waren Hunderte Flaschenª, sagt Filialleiter Albert Rungg, ´wir waren stundenlang besch‰ftigt.ª Deckel, Etikette, Inhaltsangaben: alles schwarz. ´Die Flaschen sehen unappetitlich aus, der Absatz wird zur¸ckgehenª, sagt M¸ller.
