Unsolved Murder Of 6 Year Old Jonbenet Ramsey
EXCLUSIVE: August 16, 1997, USA: Patsy Ramsey sits in JonBenet Ramsey's bedroom in one of the family's homes at an undisclosed location. The Rocky Mountain News, in its Sunday editions, published a copyrighted story quoting Ramsey friends and family members contending the little girl's parents could not be responsible for her death. JonBenet, 6, was found beaten and strangled in the basement of the family's Boulder home December 26 about eight hours after Mrs. Ramsey said she found a ransom note demanding $118,000. On December 24, 1996, JonBenet Ramsey a child beauty queen was brutally murdered in her home in Boulder, Colorado. To this day the mystery surrounding that murder remains unsolved. Her parents John and Patsy Ramsey as well as her older brother Burke have at various times been considered suspects in the case but to this day no charges have been filed against anyone and the mystery persists. Commuters dozing off on public transport and students napping at library tables now have somewhere to rest their heads — an IKEA bag that converts into a pillow.

The padded RESTEN bag is a re-imagining of the self assembly furniture store chain’s iconic blue FRAKTA bag.

It has been crafted for customers in Singapore in partnership with creative agency the Secret Little Agency after the country was revealed as the third most sleep-deprived country in the world.

The bag features a strap with the words “Leave the rest to IKEA”, and is also designed to fit the long list of daily essentials while doubling as a comfortable makeshift pillow that can be used for rest whenever it is needed.

A spokesperson said: “In the race to chase their dreams - be it in family, personal or professional growth - Singaporeans often place rest on the back burner, with many feeling stressed at the thought of doing nothing.

“In response, IKEA seeks to become the enabler of rest, positioning itself as an ally supporting Singaporeans in their quest for balance in their lives.”

The RESTEN bag is launched in tandem with a three-day event dedicated to all things sleep, rest and relaxation at IKEA called RestFest .

A smart pillow designed to cure snoring by gently repositioning the head without waking the user has hit the market.
The Artificial Intelligence powered-Hooti, promises to help snorers and those around them get a peaceful night's sleep, without any intrusive gadgets.
The Hooti looks like a memory foam pillow but inside is an anti-snore mechanism that relies on bone conduction technology to collect real-time data on how a person is sleeping.
It then feeds this information via a smartphone app to an airbag buried deep within the pillow.
The airbag is able to inflate or deflate and change shape, slightly shifting a sleeper’s position to remove airway restrictions that cause snoring.
The Hong Kong-based makers report the data is more than 90% accurate, and two adjacent pillows can operate simultaneously without interfering with each other's readings.
