The Oscar winning actor has just arrived in the UK for a Christmas break with his family after filming Paul Schrader's 'Dog Eat Dog' in Cleveland, Ohio last month.
Cage was spotted wearing a mid crown top hat, a fur trimmed overcoat and carrying a walking cane as he visited shops in Glastonbury, Somerset, a town which is steeped in mythology.
The actor who is interested in shamanism and the mystical was seen in the crystal specialist shop 'Rare Earth Guru' before taking his son to a favourite toy shop 'Little Imps'.
Kal-El was named after Cage's love of comics - Kal-El was the alter ego of Superman / Superboy.
Nicholas was in the news yesterday as he has agreed to turn over a rare stolen dinosaur skull he bought for $276,000 to US authorities so it can be returned to the Mongolian government.
