Fast food chain Burger King is offering to help out hangover sufferers over new Year — by using facial recognition to give them the best meal for a cure.

The roll out, in Brazil, offers customers the option of holding their bleary-eyed faces to a special section of the company app or website said to be equipped with software to judge how hungover they look.

The tech, called the Hangover Whopper, then suggests a combo meal to deal with it and offers a discount with a coupon.

A spokesperson explained: ““At the end of the year, it’s Friday every day, and the hangover kicks in.

“Burger K ing presents Hangover Whopper, a technology that scans your hangover level and offers a discount on the ideal combo to help combat it.

“Now available for year-end parties and for those other occasions where the
    hangover strikes !”

The campaign runs until January 2nd.

The discounts only work on delivery orders in Brazil, but the face-scanning can be done on the company’s mobile app, as well as a dedicated website in any country.

OPS: the Hangover Whopper hang over facial recognition tool which offers a combo discount depending how worse for wear a customer looks.
