Within the framework of the commemorations of the 75th anniversary of the King Albert the FirstÕs death, dead on February 17th, 1934 in Marche-les-Dames (Namur), King Albert II, Queen Paola and their children - Prince Philippe, Princess Mathilde, Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz and Princess Claire - attended the mass celebrated in the Our-Lady church in Laeken. In the afternoon, the sovereign will go to Marche-les-Dames, where he will attend the commemorative ceremony on the occasion of the 75th accidental deathÕs anniversary of his grandfather. February 18th, Prince Philippe will chair a ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the oath-taking of the third Belgian sovereign and the 75th anniversary of his accidental death. The mission consists in two parts: the Princess takes part on the one hand in the 15th International Conference on AIDS and STIs (ICASA) in Dakar, which aims to give a response to this epidemic on the African continent, and she pays on the other hand visits during which she will be interested particularly in the vulnerable young people.
