Skinny or 'drainpipe' jeans are currently all the rage but this owl has taken slim fit fashion to a whole new level - by moving into a drainpipe. The owl named Eggnog, a breed of Little Owl, seemed at ease in his new home and though his carers positioned him this is not unusual behaviour for the type of species.

He is native to the United Kingdom and can grow to a height as small as 21cm, making a drainpipe the perfect refuge. Ann Toon, the wildlife photographer who captured the image, said: "Eggnog likes to hang out in these kinds of places. Photographed in the Lake District. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
