30th June 2009 - Berlin Germany - A women captures a picture of the newly restored Berlin Wall as a camera crewe takes a break. In preparation for the 20th Year Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the city of Berlin is restoring the "East Side Gallery" section of the Berlin Wall. In 1990, 118 artists from 21 countries painted the eastern side of the .8 mile section of the Berlin Wall. After damaged sections of the wall are restored, the original artists are repainting their original works in time for festivities in November.

German reunification (German: Deutsche Wiedervereinigung) was the process in 1990 in which the German Democratic Republic (GDR, colloquially East Germany; German: Deutsche Demokratische Republik/DDR) became part of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG, colloquially West Germany; German: Bundesrepublik Deutschland) to form the reunited nation of Germany, as provided by Article 23 of the FRG's then constitution (Grundgesetz) United, nation,Republic,Reichstag, .
