Here’s a cat litter device designed to make them feel like royalty.
The Cat Throne fits onto a human lavatory bowl seat and trains pets to use the loo so their deposits can be simply flushed away.
It is particularly useful for animals living in apartments without outdoor access.
It was originally designed by US-based cat lover Heather Wagner for senior and disabled pussies.
The Cat Throne features a seat that clips onto a specially designed toilet seat.
The throne seat has extra surface area and a non-slip texture.
Three varying litter trays are provided that snap into the Cat Throne seat for fast training.
The first has a solid base, the second has a small opening and the third has a larger opening.
They are filled with soluble cat litter.
At first the kitty is encouraged to use the one with no opening.
Once it is used to that it can graduate to the one with a small aperture before using the third and final box.
When a cat has done its business, the owner can scoop out the contaminated litter and drop it into the bowl for flushing.
After getting use to the final box, the cat should be able to make a deposit straight into the toilet.

'An unexplained phenomenon': the Australian obsession for putting stuff in trees
There are trees hung with hats, bras, mugs, bikes and teddy bears located throughout regional Australia. But why do we do it?
Beside a desolate stretch of outback road, a gum tree is covered in bras.
A few hours south, another is draped with old pairs of shoes. To the west, on banks of the Murray Darling River, hundreds of pairs of thongs are nailed to sawn-off tree trunks. Locals call them "thong trees".
And more than 1,000km north-east, at end of a gravel road a few hours west of Brisbane, five rusty push bikes and two pairs of shoes hang in an old gum tree.

A poop-shaped home ornament which can be used to disperse air freshening scents or used as a candy container is no joke — after raising more than €1.500 euros on a crowdfunding site.
The emoji-like accessory called Unterior Is designed to hold air fresheners and has a lid for easy refill replacement.
The name is a combination of the Japanese word "unko" for poop and English word "interior".
But the Japanese company behind it, novelty manufacturer Beams also reckons it makes a great sweet dish or used as an outside camping light with a candle in it.
The Unterior is 13 cm high and 14 cm wide available in a choice of brass stainless steel and resin.
It is being sold on Japanese crowdfunding site Makuake where the 150,000 yen / €900 euros target hit 258,700 yen / €1.577 euros with days still to go.
The brass and steel versions, costing 28,000 Yen / €170 euros and 18,700 Yen / €114 euros respectively, were made for Beams by high end metal casting company Castem.
The resin version is 14,000 yen / €85 euros.
A Beams spokesperson said: “Even though it's poop, it smells good !”

Tokyo offers toilet tours amid flush of excitement over Wim Wenders's Oscar hopeful
Shibuya district is offering tours of its architect-designed public facilities that feature in Perfect Days.
Japan's hi-tech toilets have long fascinated visitors who rave about their heated seats, bidet function, automatic flushing, and even background noises to mask the unwelcome sounds that can accompany the call of nature.
Now, international interest in the country's public conveniences is surging thanks to the German director Wim Wenders, whose film Perfect Days - the story of Hirayama (Koji Yakusho), a Tokyo toilet cleaner - is in the reckoning for best international feature at Sunday's Academy Awards.

A new smart bathroom seat can make any toilet also function as a bidet — at a price.
It can even be voice controlled using Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home.
The voice assistants can turn on the bidet spray, warm air dryer and UV cleaning on command.
If there’s no space in a bathroom for a toilet and bidet, the new seat , by US luxury bathroom fittings company Kohler, is a must have for the home
The PureWash E930 seat is heated and has a slim, low-profile design which maker Kohler says is made to fit most elongated toilets.
At a US price of $2,149 USD / €1.960 euros it isn’t cheap but saves money and installation fees compared to full-on smart toilets in the company range which start at $8,000 USD / €7.300 euros..

A company preparing to take tourists to the edge of space via a balloon have revealed details of the on-board bathroom and other passenger facilities.
US-based Space Perspective has designed a luxuriously appointed private bathroom with too window views.
The space tourism company has sold more than 1,600 tickets costing $125,000 USD each for its flights which are due to commence in 2024.
Passengers will sit in a richly appointed pressurised capsule named Neptune which will be harnessed to a huge balloon
The bathroom with toilet, sink, and view was inspired by the idea of a “space spa.”
With the toilet seat down, there is a comfy cushion so people can go into the smallest room just to be with their thoughts alone.
Unlike other space tourism experiences using rockets, the ride on board Neptune is six hours long, so the bathroom is deemed a necessity.
The bathroom’s windows can be closed off, aimed at those passengers who may be nervous of heights and having space views in their peripheral vision.
The balloon will ascend to an altitude of 30 kilometres giving those on board 360-degree views of Earth’s curvature and the blackness of space, with visibility extending up to 724 km in any direction.
Spaceship Neptune does not reach space which begins at an altitude of 100 km.
