You Plonker! Blow Up Doll Lands Del Boy Impersonator In Hot Water
Only Fools and Horses impersonator Richard Foster felt like a right plonker after being threatened with arrest - for having a blow up doll in the back of his three-wheel van.

Del Boy fanatic Richard was on his way to collect a groom and take him to his wedding when he was pulled over on the A259 duel carriageway near Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

Stunned Richard, 34, was ordered by the solo male officer to deflate the flesh-coloured doll or face being locked in the cells under the Public Order Act.

Flight instructor Richard said: "The officer was a real job's worth and he would not let me go until I got rid of the doll.

"He said deflate the doll or I will take you to the station under section 5 of the Public Order Act.

"I asked on what grounds he could do that and he said the doll was offending members of the public.

"I was gobsmacked, especially as I even did a police wedding a few weeks ago with the doll.

"It is a comedy doll, not a sex toy and not offensive in any way.

"I was on my way to pick up the groom and best man when I was pulled over and told the officer I would be late for the biggest day of someone's life but he said he did not care."

Richard started his 'Del Boy Van Hire' business 12 months ago and charges GBP 120 pounds an hour for weddings and parties.

The van is a replica of the famous Robin Reliant from the hit BBC sitcom and comes complete with Del Boy's suitcase and the doll.

Richard and a pal will even dress up as Batman and Robin to recreate the iconic episode in which stars David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst chase away a gang of muggers dressed as the caped crusaders.

The doll comes from the 1989 episode 'Danger UXD' in which Del, played by Jason, buys a batch of faulty sex toys, which ...
