FULL COPY: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/r8ub
A photographer captured a series of images of two hyenas chasing flamingos in Lake Nakuru, Kenya.
In the pictures, the hyenas can be seen stalking, and catching, their prey.
Lake Nakuru is home to millions of flamingos, however in recent months the bird-population has sadly been under threat, due to contamintated water.
The pictures, taken by British photographer Elliott Neep, were taken a few years ago and have captured the Lake at a time before the flamingos population was threatened.
Photographer Elliott Neep, 41, said: "Just a few hundred metres away, I could see a pair of hyenas ambling towards us. They scampered about on the beach, chasing and tap-tackling. Was it a ploy? Did this behaviour lull the birds into a false sense of security? The hyenas continued to approach and subtly veered towards the water's edge.

Alien and Predator characters
Guess the Lego Movie Star
GUESS THE LEGO MOVIE STAR
The cold stare, the sharp suit, the machine gun, this tiny character certainly has a licence to kill.
Daniel Craig as James Bond is one of the amazing mini Lego figures created by movie mad Tyler Clites.
The Florida toy fan creates heroes of the big screen in Lego form - with some taking up to 30 hours to perfect.
A fan of the Danish building bricks since he was four, 21-year-old film student Tyler has to adapt and paint existing 'minifigs' available to create some of his favourite movie stars.
His amazing work includes 1.5 inch high versions of Jack Bauer from 24, The Terminator, Neo from The Matrix, Bruce Willis in Die Hard and Bruce Lee.
Tyler has even made a hilarious small-scale version of Doc Brown and Marty McFly from Back to the Future - complete with a DeLorean car.
Tyler says: "Most of my ideas come from movies and television, and I'm particularly interested in sci-fi.
"The time it takes to build my creations usually varies on the size of the build. A smaller creation may take about 10 hours while some of the larger ones can take up to 30 hours.
"When I build, I usually have an idea of vision in mind and allow the creation to take shape from there. Occasionally though I will sit down and sketch out my ideas to get a clearer vision of what I want to build."
