Satellite images by the U.S.-based private company published on Sunday Feb 6, 2022 showed details of military maneuvres at the Belarus border with Ukraine ahead of joint drills announced by Moscow and Minsk that NATO has called the biggest deployment to Belarus since the Cold War. Russia and Belarus have said they will hold joint exercises called Union Resolve 2022 on Feb. 10-20 aimed at training to repel an attack on southern borders of their alliance. The images showed that military units armed with missiles, multiple rocket launchers and attack aircrafts had deployed to Belarus at three locations close to the border with Ukraine.

Hundreds of people pass every hour to pay their respects at the sarcophagus covered with wreaths, in the Crypt of Wawel Castle Cathedral, where President Lech Kaczynski and First Lady Maria Kaczynska were laid to rest, pictured on the day of the 7th anniversary of the Smolensk crash disaster.
In the early hours of the morning, on April 10th, 2010 a TU-154M plane crashed in Smolensk (Russia) a 1km short of the runway in foggy weather conditions, killing all 96 passengers on board, including the Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife, former President Ryszard Kaczorowski, the entire general army command, the Chief of the Polish General Staff and other senior Polish military officers, the president of the National Bank of Poland, Poland's deputy foreign minister, Polish government officials, 15 members of the Polish parliament, senior members of the Polish clergy, and relatives of victims of the Katyn massacre.

The 7th White and Red March of Remembrance takes place starting at Krakow's Main Square, as Poland commemorate the anniversary of Smolensk crash disaster.
