Image grab from footage released by Ukraine Armed Forces on Thursday March 9, 2022 allegedly shows aftermath of Russia army bombardment on a children hospital in Mariupol, southeastern Ukraine, causing enormous destructions. The Ukraine Armed Forces does not indicate casualties of the strikes. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky confirms the strike of the maternity hospital in Mariupol, saying in his online post: \'People, children are under the wreckage. Atrocity! How much longer will the world be an accomplice ignoring terror? Close the sky right now! Stop the killings! You have power but you seem to be losing humanity.\' The Red Cross say the humanitarian crisis in Mariupol is apocalyptic and worsening by the hour as Russia continues to bombard the besieged Ukrainian city. Mariupol is a city of regional significance in south eastern Ukraine, situated on the north coast of the Sea of Azov at the mouth of the Kalmius river, in the Pryazovia region. It is the tenth-largest city in Ukraine, and the second largest in Donetsk Oblast with a population of 431,859.

What if You Could See Wi-Fi...
What If You Could See WiFi?

Although we use it often, we rarely think about how it works. Now, American artist Nickolay Lamm has worked with former NASA Astrobiologist M. Browning Vogel to produce these colourful depictions illustrating wifi waves.

One image featuring New York's Central Park shows an idealised wifi data transmitted over a band that is divided into different sub-channels, which are shown in red, yellow, green and other colours.

Another image featuring Washington D.C.s National Mall depicts Wifi waves travelling through space as rapid, data encoded pulses or waves. A 'freeze frame' of these pulses shows that the pulses are about 6 inches apart.

Nickolay explains: "Wifi routers or antenna can be attached to trees, buildings, lamp posts and other structures. A typical outdoor router can project its signal 300 feet or more from its location. Objects such as trees can obstruct the signal such that it has to be augmented by multiple wifi routers placed in different positions."

    Peekaboo I See You
These flirtatious red squirrels proved more than happy to have their photo taken - but only after a little playtime.

The bushy tailed and bright eyed creatures were snapped scampering around Brownsea Island in Dorset by photographer Dave Stevenson.

And to begin with the mischievous squirrels made him work hard for his photographs - popping up from behind leaves, around tree trunks and on top of branches.

Pausing for a moment they would then turn tail and disappear.

Such innocent scenes could soon be a thing of the past if recent research suggesting that some of Britain's best loved native species are facing an 'extinction crisis' is correct.

According to Doctor Toni Bunnell in less than two decades hedgehogs, squirrels and others will no longer be 'viable' species.

She made the discovery while carrying out a study for natural history TV channel Eden in which she measured recent populations and species' rate of decline.

Her report warns that red squirrels may have vanished from the UK 20 years from now.

As well as being at risk from habitat loss, red squirrels are also threatened by the spread of their non-native grey cousin.

Brownsea Island is the largest of eight islands that lie in Poole Harbour in Dorset.

It is one of the few places in southern England where red squirrels survive, largely because grey squirrels have never been introduced there.

To Fire It Would Require 200 People And A Space As Large As Wembley Stadium. And With An Hour Needed To Reload--enough Time For Anyone To Locate And Destroy It--it Must Be At Most A One Or Two-shot Weapon. But Using Conventional Explosives It Could Target Israel Or Iran--and With A Rocket-assisted Device It Could Reach Large Areas Of Europe The Soviet Union And North Africa.
