An artist has recreated masterpieces using just ONE continuous line.

Hwee Chong painstakingly drew single circles to slowly build up the details of the Mona Lisa, Girl With A Pearl Earring and Van Gogh's self portrait.

The Singapore-based art director was given a brief by pen maker Faber Castell to show off the precision of their product.

He decided to delicately build up the details of several iconic art pieces by using different widths of black line.

The amazing achievement saw Hwee having to start again every time he went wrong.

Travel To Burma: A Touch Of Freedom?
Has life become any easier for Burmese citizens? Has the recent "election" of a new government given reason for optimism?

Revisiting the country after almost a decade - and an encounter with Aung San Suu Kyi - leaves a mixed impression. Should we go there on holiday ?

Admittedly, a handful of well-stocked supermarkets in Yangon, some clubs and a few trendy restaurants were not there before. And after spending 15 out of the last 21 years in house arrest, "The Lady" is now free to move about. Nobody I met seemed to regret the generals' move to the countryside, after having built a grandiose monument to their own isolation in the brand new capital of Naypidaw, built at huge expense in a country remaining one of the world's poorest. There they comfortably reside, miles away and out of sight from the squalor and poverty to which they have sentenced their 50 million countrymen.

The November "election" did offer a few seats in the new parliament to a somewhat disorganised opposition, and in theory at least offers a forum for political dialogue - although the revised constitution guarantees the military continued power. Critics describe the new constitution as mere window dressing, camouflaging the regime's reluctance so far to engage in open public debate.

Regardless, little of this presents much hope to Yangon's homeless or the poor street hawkers and the merchants, still resigned to display their shoddy goods, cheap souvenirs and outdated magazines on the decrepit sidewalks of the city, plying their trade in the fumes from cars emitting grey clouds of exhaust - for those lucky enough to afford the scarce petrol. Nor does it change the lives of the rice farmers and oxcarts drivers in the countryside, or the destiny of women, hunched over small heaps of pebbles, fixing holes...

Prince William and Kate to Ride in Diana's Wedding Carriage
With little more than a month to the British royal wedding, preparations are frantically under way to ensure an immaculate turnout for the horses and carriages that will form the regal procession through London's streets, the centerpiece of the day's regal festivities.

Behind closed doors at the Royal Mews, ornate coaches were being polished on Monday ahead of the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton on 29 April.

The Mews, located next to Buckingham Palace, houses the royal collection of carriages and limousines used by the monarchy on state occasions and special celebrations.

Centre stage is the fairytale Glass Coach, a shining dark maroon carriage with crimson and gold detail, dating from 1881. The coach has been used on several occasions by royal brides on their journeys to be married, including Lady Diana Spencer, on her way to wed Prince Charles in 1981.

The carriage has a fixed roof designed to keep the rain at bay and will be used by Prince William and his new bride on their return journey from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace in case of inclement weather.

Workers on Monday subjected the coach to a thorough polishing, cleaning every part, from its wheels to the crown-shaped ornaments on its roof.

Attention to detail is lavished on every aspect of the procession regalia.

Leather horse harnesses, richly decorated with brass insignia, are spotlessly cleaned.

But while horse-drawn coaches have been the typical mode of transport for royal brides arriving for their weddings, Kate Middleton has decided to travel to church by car.

Middleton will arrive at Westminster Abbey in a claret and black 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI that was damaged in December when Prin...

Eva Longoria Parker out and about with friends, Marbella, Spain - 08 Jun 2009
Eva Longoria Parker has certainly been enjoying a jet set lifestyle recently. After relaxing in luxury with husband Tony Parker in St Tropez, the loved-up couple then moved on to Paris to watch the French Open. Now Eva has seemingly ditched Tony and moved on to have fun in the sun with some friends in Marbella. The Desperate Housewives star was spotted fitting in a little shopping today, accompanied by friend and celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves and Maria Bravo, who used to date Bruce Willis. And the trio seemed to be having a whale of a time - camping it up for photos that even saw Eva and Ken jumping around like children at one point. After all that hard work the friends then enjoyed a leisurely horse drawn carriage ride.
