Pictures of the globe-shaped bar from Nazi dictator Adolf HitlerÍs yacht the Aviso Grille, including a magazine picture collect showing writer Lowell Thomas and the then vice president of Pan American Airaways making a toast at the bar. The removed bar and stools are going on auction on October 28-29 and are expected to fetch around $250,000 after being kept in a barn in rural Maryland for 70 years. The bar was removed from the yacht when it was scrapped in New Jersey in 1951 and is being put on auction by Alexander Historical Auctions.
