Bergdorf, who is 31 and identifies as a black, queer, trans woman, was dropped by L’Oréal as the face of its True Match campaign. She was the the brand’s first trans model. The company objected to a Facebook post that Bergdorf wrote in reaction to the rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where an anti-racist protestor was killed by a white supremacist.
