Here’s a new AI-powered device designed to get amateur golfers swinging like a pro.
It’s an augmented reality coach said to offer real-time analysis of every swing.
It also has AI-powered analytics to track swing metrics, course strategy, and real-time visual and audio feedback.
There is also a lost ball function for finding wild shots.
And it measures distances to greens to help players select the correct club.
The system, called Caddie Vision , takes the form of a pair of AR glasses that connect to a mobile app.
On the inside of the lenses all the information needed is displayed.
OPS: Prototype Caddie Vision app view with the AR glasses.

Loud Eyewear sort une gamme de lunettes pour les fans de Heavy Metal
Picture MUST credit: Loud Eyewear Heavy metal rock fans can now get an eyeful of their favourite bands — with sets of themed spectacles. The eyewear pays tribute to British groups Iron Maiden and Judas Priest plus US thrash metal veterans Slayer. The Japanese company behind the release describes the glasses as “t-shirts for the eyes” Each of the bands have three pairs of dedicated glasses representing three of their albums. The frames have the band’s name embossed on the outside of the arms and subtly in one corner of the left hand lens. The names of the albums are on the inner sides of the arm. All the art is done in the style of the official band logo and album title typeface. Frames for Judas Priest and Slayer include studs shaped like the band logo on the front frame near the arm hinges. Each pair also comes with a 50 cm square microfibre cloth featuring the original album art. Picture supplied by JLPPA
