A flying three wheel motorbike is all set for take off.
Chinese company Kuickwheel, known for its electric scooters, says the new Skyrider X6, can take off, hover, and touch down on its own.
And the first model off the production line was sold on e-commerce platform JD.com for the equivalent of just €51,800 euros.
The machine with helicopter-like rotor blades, is described as a motorcycle that can take off and land autonomously,
It is also said to feature automatic route planning and cruising, allowing a rider to relax and enjoy the views from above.
For those who want full control, there is a manual mode and joystick control. For flight, Skyrider uses six rotors to lift the vehicle off the ground and start cruising.
It can reportedly fly at speeds up to 72 km/h and stay in the air for about 20 minutes. Altitude is described as low-level.
Back on land, Skyrider X6 has a reversed three-wheel design with two wheels at the front and one at the rear with a mid-mounted rear-wheel drive engine.
The company says that because of the design, the tricycle can also take sharp turns at high speeds, all the while maintaining a stable posture while cruising on land.
On the road it can hit 70 km/h and travel up to 200 km on a single charge.
