Having become a major celebrity in her home country, thanks to her scandalous revelations of her alleged sexual liaisons with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, escort girl Patrizia D'Addario has decided to spread her new-found celebrity to France.
The 42-year-old was the guest of honour at the 'I Love Silvio' party at Le Globo, a popular Parisian nightclub, to kick-start her new career as a celebrity for hire and to bring to light further allegations of conspiracy: apparently she no longer feels safe in her native Italy after her home was broken into and burgled - work, she claims, of a bitter Berlusconi.
Guests on the night were given masks depicting Berlusconi's grinning face while film footage of the leader was projected onto a wall, including the YouTube footage of Berlusconi simulating a sex act behind the back of an unsuspecting female traffic warden.
To advertise herself as a model-cum-reality-star, D'Addario took to the stage at the venue, surrounded by Italian paparazzi, clad in black lace and leather and sat astride a Vespa scooter, before treating guests and cameras to some singing and pouting - even though some Parisian regulars at the club were more than a little confused as to who she was and why she was receiving so much attention.
D'Addario came to fame by publishing audio tape recordings of conversations (and other sounds) between her and the Italian premier as they spent the night in bed together.
She says that she has always carried a tape recorder around with her when with men after she had previously used it to prove that a former boyfriend was being violent and abusive with her.

When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone--including the immigration officer handling their case. She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again. [D-Man2010]
When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, who she's tormented for years. JOHN TERRY'S POSITION IN DOUBT
While Chelsea and England captain John Terry's private life has been making all the back and front pages of the newspapers, he let his head do the talking in his professional life on Saturday afternoon, nodding home his team's winner in their 2-1 away victory against Burnley.
Allegations are rife throughout the press - now that the court super-injunction gagging the media has been lifted - that Terry, 29, had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the girlfriend of his former Chelsea teammate Wayne Bridge, despite Terry being a married father-of-two. None of the parties involved have denied the rumours.
There have been widespread calls for Terry to lose his position as captain of the national football team before this year's World Cup in South Africa, claiming Terry prolific and lucrative job makes him a role model for younger generations and one which has been tarnished by this affair.
This is not the first time Terry has been rumoured to have cheated on wife Toni: past reported conquests include glamour models Linsey Dawn Mckenzie and Alicia Douvall.
His family have also been tainted by scandals: newspapers have published stories allegedly uncovering his mother as a shoplifter and his father as a small-time cocaine dealer.
Model Perroncel, no longer girlfriend to Wayne Bridge, who is currently playing for Manchester City, is the mother of his son Jaydon Jean Claude Bridge.

GIDDY GORILLAS GET DRUNK ON BAMBOO
Wildlife photographer Andy Rouse had a close encounter with a family of mountain gorillas - and discovered them DRUNK.
The tipsy beasts had been slurping alcoholic sap from fresh bamboo shoots and looked completely bewildered by booze.
The family were pictured in Virunga Mountains of Rwanda, Africa.
'It was not exactly Gorillas In The Mist, more like gorillas who were p*****,' said Rouse, 43, who was on his fourth trip to see the primates.
'I had heard they sometimes get like this, but I had never actually seen it. It was just like any family party when one or two members have a little bit too much to drink.
'The boss of the group, a huge silverback called Kwitonda, and some of the younger males were completely out of it.
'Some were running round cackling to each other, others were going mad swinging through the trees, some were just lying on the ground in an inebriated state.
'We came across a young male blackback (approx 10 years old, a silverback-in-training) who was feeling very sorry for himself.
'When we reached him the poor thing was laying flat on the ground with chewed bamboo all around and looked at us through very dopey eyes. He tried to get up to see us and fell straight back, god it was so funny. He then rolled on the ground, playing with his feet and looking not quite in control, his expression was priceless.
'Over the course of the hour we were treated to a lot more high jinx, most of which I have never witnessed before on any of my treks - and I am very experienced.
'They were running around the forest chasing each other, then taking turns to get chased. The really young ones, who were really affected, t...

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed off their twins for the first time in public today after touching down at Narita International airport in Japan. When the twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, were born six months ago the couple sold the first pictures of the newborns to American magazine People and British magazine Hello! for $14million - with the money going to charity. Since then the Hollywood pair have kept the latest additions to their family under wraps. However, the whole brood was on show today as they walked hand in hand through the airport. Little Vivienne - named after Angelina's late mother - proved to be the spitting image of older sister Shiloh, while her twin brother Knox was dressed just like his dad in a grey jumper and flat cap. With their hands full with the twins, Brad and Angelina's older children Pax, Maddox, Shiloh and Zahara dutifully walked beside their parents. The family are in Japan to promote Pitt's new film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.

A vicious swan has been nicknamed 'Mr Asbo' after capsizing boats and attacking rowers on a city river. Rowers are now being warned to stay away from the bad-tempered bird, which has been snapping and hissing at rowers who get too near. The angry bird is part of a nesting pair and is very protective of his nest.

Last year's bash may have been something of a washout but guests at David Frost's summer party this year enjoyed soaring temperatures. A host of London society enjoyed the warm weather at the TV presenter's annual garden event, which has become a feature in the summer social calendar. Those in attendance included Sarah Ferguson and her daughter Princess Beatrice, who showed off her newly trimmed down figure in thigh-skimming blue dress. Bob Geldof and daughter Peaches arrived together, having obviously resolved the conflict between them. Also dropping in at the event were the likes of Buzz Aldrin, Prince Andrew, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Michael Caine, Felicity Kendal and Uri Geller. The party was also well populated by political figures with David Cameron, Ken Livingstone, Betty Boothroyd and Margaret Beckett all putting in an appearance.

There have been rumours that Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas might be tying the knot, but the couple are facing embarrassment after footage showing the 24-year-old starring in a tacky TV show has emerged.
Cressida had a cameo role in the 2009 ITV2 show 'Trinity', which her half sister Isabella Calthorpe had a leading role in.
Wearing a skimpy Superman cheerleader costume, Cressida is seen taking part in a cheer routine and offering sexual favours to win student council votes.
The then 20-year-old Cressida appears for two minutes in the fourth episode of the programme, which was based on the fictional Trinity College and axed after one series.

It would seem that Katie Price has become the latest victim of the divorce diet. As she stepped out onto the catwalk at the Clothes Show Live it looked like the former glamour model's recent marriage woes had taken a drastic toll on her figure. As she posed at the end of the runway in a white, ruffled bikini the mother of three's ribcage was clearly prominent and her stomach concave. The modelling gig, which took place at the ExCel Centre in London was Katie's first public appearance since her split from husband Peter Andre was announced earlier this month. She was at the fashion show to promote her latest collection of equestrian clothing. Katie also took to the catwalk in order to take part in a beauty pageant as 'Miss London'.

These stunning images show a dangerous tussle for food between vultures and jackals.
Wildlife photographer Mitchell Krog captured the fighting as the creatures scrapped over scattered bones at the Giant's Castle Nature Reserve in the Drakensberg region of South Africa.
Mitchell says: "The hide from where these images were captured is open for visitors to watch the bearded vultures and other endangered bird species and offers unsurpassed opportunities for bird photography and bird viewing.
"These images were captured when a group of black-backed jackals arrived on top of the mountain in the late afternoon to come and steal the meaty bones that were placed out for the vultures. The sets of images portray what ensued thereafter which was a lot of fighting between the jackals themselves and the vultures.
"The Jackal won by chasing the vulture away but the vulture was not injured. The jackals basically charge the vultures who will naturally try and peck back but at the same time they will just spring into flight and get out of there."

The Central Park concert, which was watched by thousands of fans, was the 45-year-old's first live show in seven years. It came as the singer puts the troubled last decade behind her in order to launch a new album, 'I Look To You'. However, the troubled diva was forced to apologise to the crowds because of her spotty vocals during her four track set. Acknowledging that she wasn't at her old best, she missed some notes and her voiced cracked in parts. "I'm sorry," she told the crowd, blaming her vocal problems on the Oprah Winfrey Show that she had taped a day earlier. "I've been talking for so long. ... I talked so much. ... When I'm talking, I should be singing." The singer's comeback comes after a troubled few years in which she has fought drug addiction and a troubled marriage.
