Teams retracted the first two of 20 platforms surrounding the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft that allows work on the integrated system in High Bay 3 inside the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The first platforms to be retracted - which move like hydraulic kitchen drawers when moved - are those located near the launch abort system on Orion in preparation for rollout to Launch Complex 39B in anticipation of the Artemis I wet dress rehearsal. Inside High Bay 3 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the work platforms have been retracted from around the Artemis I Space Launch System on September 20, 2021. All ten levels of platforms were extended and retracted as part of an umbilical test. During the test, several umbilical arms on the mobile launcher were extended to connect to the SLS rocket. They swung away from the launch vehicle, just as they will on launch day. NASA and Jacobs teams will continue conducting tests inside the VAB before transporting the Orion spacecraft to the assembly building and stacking it atop the SLS, completing assembly of the rocket for the Artemis I mission. Moscow Cracks: Amazing 3D Street Art Cave
    **EXCLUSIVE**

Here's an artist whose work is all that it's cracked up to be.

Edgar Mueller made the earth split open last week with a jaw-dropping piece of 3D street art.

He daubed a chilling depiction of a perilous fissure in paint outside a shopping mall in Moscow.

But making the earth moved proved difficult on this project - which he calls Duality - as Moscow was experiencing choking smog from forest fires.

In fact, Edgar's team had to wear gas masks to combat the dust and were forced to seek shelter in the shopping malls when conditions got too bad.

"Even before I left, the media reported on the disaster that was caused there by the forest and peat fires and unfortunately still persisted," Edgar explains. "After consulting with my team, I decided nevertheless to fly to Moscow - which I have to admit was somewhat naive. The conditions that we found there were terrifying."

The project took five days to complete, working from early morning to noon to escape the heat.

The work was originally going to be a tribute to the beauty of nature called The Lagoon, but the adverse conditions made Edgar change his mind.

"The idea of a holiday scene in central Moscow appealed to me. But given the circumstances which appeared in the city I decided this title was no longer appropriate.

"I decided to call it Duality to reflect how nature can be both beautiful and terrifying at the same time."
