With gale force winds sweeping parts of Britain, Cockapoo Murdoch and his owner enjoyed a very brisk walk today. At times it appeared the small pooch may well be blown away as he happily trotted across the Norfolk Broads. And it's a good job that little Murdoch isn't precious about his curly hairdo as the wind whistling past him left him decidedly tousled.

Opened March 2009, Red Dog Spa is unique in the animal spa community. The spa uses no metal cages, metal tubs or cage dryers. Red Dog Spa offers a brush out fur service, teeth brushing, bathes and nail trimming. For extra special occasions, pets can receive services such as painted nails, a washable fur dye and temporary tattoos. Red Dog Spa also uses chemical-free botanical shampoo and conditioner on the pets. Similar to human salons, Red Dog Spa is by appointment. This way the pets do not have to wait long away from their owners. On average the pet is in and out of the spa in two hours. Owner Terri Garretson wants the dogs to feel comfortable so they will have the best experience possible. Red Dog Spa not only offers spa services but also sells many pet products. The boutique offers everything from dog beer to cologne.
