Missouri race riot
August 18, 2014 - Ferguson, Missouri, United States: Ahmad Lihmeidi (center) said he doesn't mind if people know he is armed. "I'm legal," Lihmeidi said. "I have a conceal carry permit." Lihmeidi was with his cousins, standing guard at the Hollywood Beauty store at the corner of W. Florissant and New Halls Ferry on Sunday night, Aug. 17, 2014, to keep the store from being looted. The store is a two-year-old family operation. Mike Kouk, the manager, said that cars full of men drive by and yell "You're next" and "We'll be back". "The problem is that the looters scatter and look for easy targets in quiet areas," he said. "We don't want to work all day and be here all night," said Kouk. "We've got families," he said, "but we'll do this until the problem gets better. We're from Ramallah in Palestine. We're used to this stuff."

Funeral of Yasser Arafat after exhumation of his body for polonium poisoning investigation at the Mukataa, Ramallah, West Bank - 27 Nov 2012
The body of former Palestinian president Yasser Arafat was exhumed Tuesday, part of efforts by an international team investigating claims that he had died of poisoning, after traces of radiation were found on the late leader's old clothing. French, Swiss and Russian experts, who flew to Ramallah to conduct the probe, were taking samples. The body of the former president is to be re-interred later in the day in a military ceremony. The results of the tests are expected to be known within days, or by the end of the year at the latest. Arafat died at the age of 75 in a French hospital on November 11, 2004. Medical records show he died of a brain hemorrhage, caused by a bowel infection. Some Palestinians blame Israel for his death, a claim Israel has strenuously denied.
