What is said to be one of the world’s most expensive Martini cocktails is being served up at a fine dining restaurant — with a $13,000 USD / €11.735 euros price tag

It comes with a dazzling necklace from US jewellery brand Marrow Fine whose fans include Barbie actress Margot Robbie and music star Machine Gun Kelly.

Marrow Fine joined with Chicago’s Adalina restaurant for the Marrow Martini, said to be the most expensive Martini in the United States.

The necklace , known as a tennis design, features 150 diamonds weighing a total of 9 carats and set in14k gold.

The piece is paired with a smoked heirloom tomato mezcal Martini created by Adalina’s award winning sommelier Colin Hofer.

Liverpool man, David Clarke, who inherited £100,000 lets 12 strangers give the money away.
David Clarke, who says he has enough money to live on, lets people picked at random decide what to do with money.

David who has been sitting on a £100,000 inheritance from his mother for more than 10 years has given the large sum to four charities in Liverpool - and that decision was down to 12 strangers.

David Clarke, 34, who is a researcher, said he wanted to tackle inequality as he felt he had enough money to live on. He wanted to give power to his neighbours and residents in the L8 area of Liverpool to decide what to do with his lump sum of money.

David Clarke (34) outside The Florrie in Toxteth, which is to receive £25,000 of his philanthropy. David has given away £100,000 he'd inherited, recruiting members of the public to decide how the money should be distributed .

David Clarke (34) in Livepool 8 . David has given away £100,000 he'd inherited, recruiting members of the public to decide how the money should be distributed .

An unopened original Apple iPhone has fetched $35,414 USD / € 35.650 euros at auction 15 years after it was first released. That’s more than 110 times its original price. The first generation device was still in its factory sealed box. The smartphone only has 8GB of storage - minuscule compared to the minimum 128GB available on today's iPhone 13.On the packaging there's an image of the iconic device that changed Apple for ever and the world of mobile phones for ever. The photo shows 12 basic apps displayed on a tiny 3.5-inch screen.Experts say this particular model is probably from the earliest production, as the iTunes app isn't shown yet.The app followed soon after and was eventually added to packaging. The late Apple boss Steve Jobs announced the device in January 2007 saying:” iPhone is a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of any other mobile phone," The phone was sold by US-based RR Auction and the price included the buyer’s premium.
