Here's an artist who thinks outside the box - the EGGbox that is.
Wacky Dutchman Enno de Kroon makes amazing portraits from cardboard egg trays.
In a style he calls Eggcubism, the work sees him paint faces onto the dimpled surfaces - some of which are best viewed as an angle.
And the results are as good as they are cracked up to be, with colourful images ranging from small Chinese boys to kissing couples.
Enno says he enjoys the challenge that working on the uneven surface presents.
He explains: "Painting with hindrances requires a new approach by the painter, which in turn has led the viewer to have to take a new approach to looking at the art.
"Painting on the surface of eggcrates reveals all different dynamic aspects of changing light interfering with the rich colours of real paint.
"The viewer discovers quickly the presence of an obstacle when looking at these works and finds it necessary to look at it from different sides, and then to decide themselves which position they want to take."
The artist says he has been influenced by Cubist artists such as Picasso.
"I've been inspired by cubism, the art form developed at the beginning of the 20th century where Picasso and Braque were the pioneers. They were the first to show us that you can take an object, a person or landscape, and simultaneously show it from different angles."

During WWII, government contracts prevented the Los Angeles Brush Company from supplying its customers with its standard product . So just for fun the Company dreamed up a series of crazy brushes , described in pseudo-serious pieces sent to its customer list . The customers loved it so much that they screamed when the company tried discontinuing the practice after the war .
