Ice cream lovers are being served up the sweet treat — in the shape of delicate flowers.
The sunflower-shaped petals are made of ice cream and a sweet bean paste called Anko which is popular in Japan where the new ice has gone on sale..
The Flower Ice Cream has been created by a Japanese store called Oh! Huggy!!
It specialises in a local delicacy called ohagi which are rice cakes filled with the same sweet bean paste used in the ice cream.
The ice cream blooms are served in a wafer cone which the makers describe as a "bouquet you can hold in your hand”.
A spokesperson said: “It is ice cream that combines a gorgeous appearance with the taste of authentic bean paste.
“Beautiful from every angle, they're so adorable you'll want to take photos.
They're sure to add a touch of elegance to your summer memories and become a hit on social media.”
The ice cream flowers come in three flavours, vanilla, matcha and roasted green tea.

And one of the toy brick-built masterpieces will go on show at the museum in Amsterdam dedicated to the Dutch impressionist. The 2,615-piece set is described as recreating the brushstrokes of Van Gogh’s masterpiece. A Lego spokesperson said the set enables fans to immerse themselves in Van Gogh’s art and to learn more about the inspiration behind one of his most beloved paintings, done in 1889. The set has been carefully designed to create a 3-D brick version focusing on the three radiant shades of yellow and Van Gogh’s famous use of light and shade. The set features the 16 sunflowers of the painting with adjustable petals, a removable frame, a tile with Van Gogh’s signature and a hanger element to display While building Lego suggests listening to a podcast created together with the Van Gogh Museum, featuring its senior curator Nienke Bakker and the Lego set designer Stijn Oom available from March 1 when the set hits stores. Climate activists splattered what appears to be tomato soup on "Sunflowers" by Vincent van Gogh and then glued themselves to the wall below it in protest against in-action on climate change as part of a series of protests throughout the UK by the environmental group. The gallery said the painting was covered by glass and therefore not damaged.
