BAKER?S DOZEN WARM UP FOR 2018 VIRGIN MONEY LONDON MARATHON WITH PANCAKE RACE
A Baker?s Dozen of Great British Bake Off contestants proved they have made a flipping good start to their Virgin Money London Marathon training by taking part in a pancake race in London?s Hyde Park on Shrove Tuesday [Tuesday 13 February].
The 13 bakers, including Series Four winner Frances Quinn and Series Seven star Selasi Gbormittah, were inspired to run the 2018 London Marathon after watching last year?s race on their televisions.
The group ? who are running for four charities: Great Ormond Street Hospital, World Vision, Macmillan Cancer Support and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust - showed that you can be putting in the miles and still enjoy a sweet treat by making some delicious pancakes at Michel Roux Jr?s Le Gavroche restaurant.
Richard Burr, who finished Runner-Up in Series Five, said: ?The Great British Bake Off is a brilliant thing and we have been given so many opportunities to have fun so we thought we would
