Appearing together for the first time since their engagement was officially confirmed earlier today Prince William and Kate Middleton have spoken of their happiness. With Kate showing off her engagement ring, which belonged to William?s mother Princess Diana, the happy couple were all smiles as they posed together for the press. Speaking about the engagement William commented: ?The timing is right now, we are both very very happy?. Explaining the decision to use his mother?s ring William said it was so she ?didn?t miss out on today?. He added that as a couple he and Kate ?have fun together and are both down to earth?. Kate said that getting married was ?a daunting prospect? before adding ?hopefully I?ll take it in my stride? and that it ?just seemed a natural step for both of us?. I merged several images of the walls and a surprisingly ornate doorway for a warehouse. The window, a thing of great beauty, come from another location in the city but clearly belonged in the piece
