'I stood up and fought back': how revenge porn survivor Georgia Harrison got her abuser jailed
The reality star Georgia Harrison's life was almost destroyed when an ex secretly filmed them having sex and posted it online. He went to prison - and she waived her right to anonymity to help the many women similarly affected.
"What's the worst that can happen?" That is what Georgia Harrison asked herself one Sunday morning in August 2020 when Stephen Bear, who lived opposite, invited her over for a cup of tea. They knew each other through the reality television and influencer circuits. They had hooked up before and he hadn't treated her well.
What happened was this: the morning cup of tea stretched into a long lunch washed down by tequila, followed by drunken sex in Bear's back garden. The sex was different from how it had been in the past - more performative, with Bear carefully positioning Harrison in various locations. "It was more dramatic and lasted longer," says Harrison. "I just thought he was having a good day." Afterwards, to Harrison's horror, Bear mentioned casually that it might have been caught on his CCTV system. When he showed her the footage and she began to cry ("I'll die if anyone sees it," she said), he promised to delete the video. Instead, three months later, Bear posted the footage on his verified Only Fans account.

How a teenager created one of UK's last celluloid-only cinemas
While studying for his A-levels, Joe Cornick undertook a project close to his heart. He wanted to recreate a retro cinema in the local hall in the village where he grew up.
Though the 1930s Coronation Hall in Slindon, West Sussex, had a projection box, no projectors had ever been put in. So, in 2019, Cornick installed a 35mm projector - thanks to a donation of equipment from a cinema in Tonbridge that had gone fully digital.
Today, Slindon cinema is one of the last cinemas in the world to only use film. Following Covid-induced closures, the cinema has opened again this winter
for an audience drawn to the classic vintage feel.
