NEWS - USA-Mexiko Grenze: Schild "warnt" vor Flüchtlingen
July 17, 2017 - San Ysidro, California, U.S. - The last of ten immigrant crossing signs that once stood on either side of Interstates 5 and Interstate 805 near the US-Mexico Border is still visible. Caltrans has said that this last one will not be replaced once it is gone. The signs were created based on photos taken by former Los Angeles Times Photographer Don Bartletti, and created by Caltrans employee John Hood in the early 1990s after too many deaths occurred on the freeway when the San Diego Border Patrol Sector was literally overrun with migrants crossing (FOTO: DUKAS/ZUMA)
