German car maker Audi is set to reopen its plants – with workers separated by Perspex shields to ensure social distancing. The will also be an obligation for workers to use mouth and nose protection in areas where distances of 1.5 metres are not possible. The physical barriers will be erected at what Audi calls “critical workplaces.”In door pre-assembly, for example, two employees work simultaneously on the same transport rack and stand directly opposite each other. The employees themselves have developed a transparent barrier made of plastic sheeting.Elsewhere, Perspex will be used. The Volkswagen-owned marquee will gradually initiate the restart of production at its plants in Europe from the end of April onwards. The background to the decision original shut down car production lines was supply bottlenecks and a drop in demand due to the corona pandemic. The upcoming regulated restart in the worldwide Audi production network together with suppliers and service providers will be coordinated with the Volkswagen Group. The main component of the restart is a comprehensive package of measures that focuses on the safety of employees. In this respect, Audi is following a strict health guidelines the regulations of the health authorities of the respective country.
OPS: Foils attached to the vehicles separate employees during parallel work on assembly.

Here’s a stunning modern home made up of four cylindrical sections – inspired by the badge and history of German car maker Audi. The Ringshouse concept has been imagined as a holiday home.Polish architect and designer Karina Wiciak previous imagine residences based on the three stripes of sports and leisure wear make adidas and the grill badges of car companies Mitsubishi, Renault and Chrysler. The Audi badge is made up of four inter connecting rings .It came about after a company merger in 1932 which is what the style of the house tried to reflect.Audi joined forces with three other German automakers in Horch, Wanderer and Dampf-Kraft-Wagen (DKW), to create the Auto Union AG.Each ring of the logo represents an arm of auto union, with the overlapping circles showing their partnership. The new design is a contemporary building and also a “great excuse” to tell an interesting story and not only the history of architecture .The Ringshouse is a house in the form of four parallel cylinders. The daily usable floor area of the house is almost 280 m2 and covers only one floor, but below is an underground garage with utility rooms.
