Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Potting Shed Pub in Crudwell, Wiltshire, Britain - 18 Jul 2009
Prince William and long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton have been keeping their relationship considerably low key in recent years. However, when the chance came for them to enjoy a romantic meal out together the loved-up couple couldn't resist a kiss and a cuddle. After dining out at The Potting Shed Pub in Crudwell the pair were snapped walking arm-in-arm through the car park. As they get to their car the couple are then seen wrapping their arms tenderly around each other for a kiss. It is the first time that the royal couple have been snapped locking lips for more than two years. With them looking so in love it is sure to further fuel rumours of an imminent wedding announcement. The couple have been trying to keep their relationship out of the newspapers since reuniting after a brief split in 2007.

Australia's dying pub scene, Australia - Apr 2016
    FULL COPY: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/s9gf

Photographer Ryan Cremer has captured a series of eerie photos that show the disappearing pubs of the Australian outback.

The Riverina, In New South Wales, is a diverse agriculture area, known as the 'food bowl' of Australia. Whilst around 150,000 people call the vast area home, the pub scene has been slowly drying up.

Albury-based Ryan, 42, has been snapping pictures of the pubs over the last few years, to create his 'Last Drinks' photo series.

Locations he visited included Balldale, Moulamein, Albury, Howlong and Alfredtown. The pubs - known as 'Hotels' in Australia - can be seen abandoned, run-down or quite empty.

Prince William at the Barracuda Club on the night of a pub brawl, Newquay, Britain - 09 Feb 2008
    **EXCLUSIVE**

TEENAGER ATTACKED AT PRINCE WILLIAM'S £1-A-DRINK PUB

William the party Prince swopped his usual celeb packed London hangouts over the weekend for boozing in a £1-a-drink bar in Cornwall. Where, on the same evening, a fellow reveller had a broken bottle thrust in his face.

The second-in-line to the throne was at the Barracuda club, in Newquay, Cornwall, in the early hours of Saturday morning when the incident happened.

The Prince, 25, and friends spent three hours at the nightclub, which is renowned locally for its £1 party night, downing shots of 40% proof Aftershock and drinking alcopops and lager.

He was led out by security staff at around 1am, shortly before reveller Dan O'Callaghan, 19, was slashed in the face by a broken bottle after a fight broke out between two groups of people.

Three men were arrested in relation to the incident, which left O'Callaghan needing 35 stitches.

Two years ago a drinker at the same bar was notoriously beaten to death.

William had spent the evening with a number of friends who he was away with for the weekend. The group of eight also included Harry Aubrey-Fletcher - whose father is Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.

Clarence House confirmed that the Prince had already left the bar when the attack, described by police as "very nasty", took place.

During his stay in the resort in Cornwall Prince William and his friends were seen surfing at Watergate Bay and dining at Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen.

A new phone case aims to stop anti-social drinkers scrolling through their social media on a night out with friends.
Global beer brand Heineken has unveiled the case called The Flipper that flips a phone face down so the owner does not get distracted by social media.
Swedish inventor Simone Giertz was inspired by seeing people at a bar or pub scrolling through their social media rather than talking to each other.
The Flipper uses voice detection technology.
So far it is only a prototype.A spokesperson said: “The witty device uses an AI-trained listening tool connected to a robotic arm to flip the phone nestled inside it when it senses the word ‘cheers’ - a universal sign you’re out having a good time in person.”
It comes after a recent study showed that up to 47% of adults are glued to their smartphones when socialising.
Last year the brand launched The Boring Phone, a smartphone without all the features that make tit distracting.
The spokesperson added: “The device became a sellout success, proving that social lives are more enriching when there’s less on your phone.
“The ironic yet iconic Flipper is a prototype, but even those who can't get their hands on one are encouraged to flip their phones the old fashioned way and avoid digital distractions. Cheers!.”
