    Prairie Dog Jive
    This light-footed prairie dog caused a stir when he was spotted performing what looked like an extraordinary jive dance routine in the snow.

    With his head raised to the sky, the twinkle toes crossed his tiny paws over and lifted his feet in a jive-like routine.

    The hilarious spectacle was caught on camera in Boulder, Colorado by photographer Rob Palmer.

    The 58-year-old said: "In the winter these black tailed prairie dogs come out when the sun is shining.

    "They like to talk to each other and sometimes make an alarm call if a predator is close. This one probably saw a raptor and sent out a warning"

    Prairie dogs, known as the 'ground squirrel', are native to North America.

    The animal is known for its distinctive high-pitched warning call, which sounds very similar to a dog's bark.

    The call alerts others in the groups to the presence of a potential predator and it is thought the sound varies depending on what the threat is.

    Past research by animal behaviour experts has suggested the animals have a very complex system of communication.

    It is thought different warning calls contain specific information - including how big a predator is and how fast it is approaching.

In January Netflix announced a reboot of the iconic show, revealing it will be “part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West”. But a month later Alison confirmed that she and other OG cast members are unlikely to be involved. “None of us, as far as I know, our gang, are in at this point,” she revealed in an interview with ReMIND website.
