The Global Sumud Flotilla is an international solidarity mission that brings together activists, politicians, humanitarian groups, and public figures from more than 44 countries to challenge Israel's blockade of Gaza amid ongoing attacks on the enclave. Days earlier, the Flotilla's main ships, 'Family' and 'Alma', respectively sailing under the Portuguese and the UK flags, are hit by a drone strike in Tunisian waters at the port of Sidi Bou Said, according to the crew.
