A photographer has captured a series of striking images of Cuba's Wi-Fi 'Revolution'.
Photographer Valerio Berdini captured a series of images that show Cuban faces illuminated by mobile phone light, as many browse the internet on their mobile phone devices for the first time.
In June 2015 Cuban citizens gained access to Wi-Fi for the first time when Cuban government-owned telecommunication company, ETECSA, began installing 35 Wi-Fi hotspots in the parks of the main cities.
Until that date the web in Cuba was an affair limited to the guests of few luxury hotels and some official state offices.

In Columbia the cocaine business has become less important than in past years. It is the land now, with its enormous riches hidden in the subsoil, and the consequent lucrative management of extraction, inflaming economic interest and violence.
The gold fever has returned, supported by the exchange rate of 1111 dollars per ounce, almost 32 euros per gram.
Photojournalist Erberto Zani spent time with workers toiling in a trecherous illegal mine in Carrizal.
Witnessing nightmare conditions in cramped and poorly ventilated spaces, up to 500m under the earth, he experienced the dread of rapidly rising waters when an old pump at surface level broke down and the tunnels began began to flood.

In mobility lessons the children navigate the campus grounds using canes donated by various NGOs. The activity is highly team-based, with slower children being assisted by their more confident peers. The campus, with its sprawling emptiness in the middle, is littered with large rocks, debris, and fallen branches. These lessons equip the children with a heightened sense of spatial awareness, teaching them how to walk safely and confidently

The Zoological Society of London are exhibiting the winning images from the annual photography competition.
A stunning image of a panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis), framed by a backdrop of jungle foliage as it snares its prey with alarming accuracy, is today (Thursday) revealed as the winning image of the ZSL Animal Photography Prize 2014.
Captured by photographer Simone Sbaraglia, the photograph has been awarded the coveted top prize in the third annual animal photography competition, run by international conservation charity, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

Mr Sbaraglia spent days waiting to capture the perfect shot, in a bid to encourage more people to connect with nature. He said: "I spent a significant amount of time trying to learn the animal's behaviour to try and anticipate this moment. After several days I was able to achieve the picture that I was looking for.
"I hope that when people see it they are amazed by this animal, connect with nature and learn to love and respect it."
The competition has six categories for adult and junior entrants, including Last Chance to See and Size Matters. The winning images were chosen by a panel of judges including ZSL Honorary Conservation Fellow and television presenter Kate Humble and ornithologist Bill Oddie.

The Save the Children supported health centre in Hiyala, Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan is receiving an increasing number of patients with suspected cases of cholera. Save the Children is providing staff, medicines and training to treat patients and help prevent the spread of the highly infectious disease. If those suffering from cholera do not receive immediate medical attention, there is a high risk that they can die from dehydration.
The cases in Hiyala are part of an alarming trend of increasing cholera cases across the country. As the rainy season continues to intensify, there is a great risk of the disease spreading rapidly. Save the Children is urgently scaling up its response to the growing cholera crisis.

Lizardfish bury themselves in the sand leaving only their eyes and nostrils out. Perfectly camouflaged during the day, these predators lie in wait and eat small fish. The blue light at night reveals their fluorescent green pigments which makes them highly visible.

Ultraviolet Undersea Life
A new collection of photographs capture the beauty of underwater life.
Award-winning photographer Louise Murray has spent the majority of her years travelling the globe documenting awesome scenery and wildlife from every country she has visited.
During that time she has often dived underwater to photograph marine creatures amongst the coral reef.
Her latest collection was captured while diving in the dark waters of Tondoba Bay in the Red Sea of Egypt.
The fluorescent images occur when near an ultraviolet torch.
Highlights include a giant clam that appears dull under natural light but glows bright red under the blue hue; a pipefish hunting at night glows orange and camouflaged fish made visible by the ultraviolet torch reveal their florescent green pigment making them known to their prey.
In comparison to the muted browns, golds, pinks and blues of a coral reef during the daytime "it looks like Oxford Street at Christmas," says Louise.
The wildlife photographer uses a powerful blue light to stimulate photosensitive pigments in the marine life, which then emit fluorescent colours.
Louise explains: "Almost all these photographs were shot after dark as the sunlight masks the colours.
"The stronger the light the better the results, I have to filter my camera and eyes with a yellow mask so the true colours are revealed.
"It can be very exciting when I find a new kind of fish or cr...

AN ARTIST WITH A HEAD FOR ART
Here's an artist with a head for art.
Levi van Leluw creates amazing scenes using his own HEAD for a canvas.
The Dutch artist's works include everything from realistic-looking forests to covering his skull entirely in pebbles.
Other eye-catching pieces see him covering his face and shoulders in ink patterns, tree bark and hair.
Talented Levi, 23, takes about 11 hours to apply each sculpture onto his head and, amazingly, no digital manipulation is used in the quirky self-portraits.
He explains: "Constructing the idea/concept can take months. Most of the work I do myself, because it's important to make all the substantive choices when creating a new picture. But I do have trainees which help me with all practical kind of things.
Levi says his work is designed to 'unsettle' viewers by challenging preconceptions of certain materials and objects.
He does this by using familiar items such as stones and, in one unsettling example, small strips of carpet.
"A very specific unsettling reaction is invoked in the viewer when they are essentially forced to review commonly-held notions about a mere piece of grey carpet.
"The image succeeds in shifting the viewer's perception, be it in a very small way and about an unimportant subject."
Levi's work has been showcased across Europe, China and the States, earning him a number of prestigious awards that include the Photographer of the Year Award at the IPA International Photo Awards in the USA.
He says: "The work you see is not a portrait, but an information-rich image of colo...
