Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek play ancient Greek gods – in a big budget ad for an electric car to air during the Superbowl.Stars play king of the gods Zeus and wife Hera who've retired from Mount Olympus for a quiet life in Palm Springs, California.German actor and former bodybuilder Ralf Moeller as makes a cameo in the spot as, Sea God and brother to supreme God Zeus, Poseidon. In the 60 second ad white bearded Arnold ,74, as Zeus announces from atop mount Olympus hat he and wife Hera , played by 55-year-old Salma are retiring. The scene then cuts to Arnold attempting to relax in the pool and on the golf course. However, he is constantly pestered by neighbours who need him to zap things that have run out of electricity back to life like golf carts and chain saws with some of his extra power.Arnie seems to have a tough time using basic human devices like the micro-wave In his frustration he cuts the power to all of Palm Springs.But then Hera steps in to cheer him up with BMW's all-new, all-electric SUV: the BMW iX M60. The pair set off for a trip with Zeus using his powers to zap the red traffic lights to green while the couple sing 1982 hit song Electric Avenue originally by British star Eddy Grant.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek play ancient Greek gods – in a big budget ad for an electric car to air during the Superbowl.Stars play king of the gods Zeus and wife Hera who've retired from Mount Olympus for a quiet life in Palm Springs, California.German actor and former bodybuilder Ralf Moeller as makes a cameo in the spot as, Sea God and brother to supreme God Zeus, Poseidon. In the 60 second ad white bearded Arnold ,74, as Zeus announces from atop mount Olympus hat he and wife Hera , played by 55-year-old Salma are retiring. The scene then cuts to Arnold attempting to relax in the pool and on the golf course. However, he is constantly pestered by neighbours who need him to zap things that have run out of electricity back to life like golf carts and chain saws with some of his extra power.Arnie seems to have a tough time using basic human devices like the micro-wave In his frustration he cuts the power to all of Palm Springs.But then Hera steps in to cheer him up with BMW's all-new, all-electric SUV: the BMW iX M60. The pair set off for a trip with Zeus using his powers to zap the red traffic lights to green while the couple sing 1982 hit song Electric Avenue originally by British star Eddy Grant.
