A James Bond-inspired Aston Martin that pays tribute to the iconic gadget loaded car used by 007 in Sixties movie Goldfinger, has been unveiled by the British maker.
Fans of the iconic spy movie that featured an Aston Martin DB5 with ejector seat, will have to spend £300,000 GBP / €360.000 euros to own the special Aston Martin Goldfinger edition of the DB12.
Just 60 of the 671 bhp model will be produced, crafted by the marque’s bespoke personalisation division, Q by Aston Martin.
    It has a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine, delivering 680PS/800Nm.
The special edition commemorates 60 years of the brand's association with the James Bond film franchise which began with the release of Sean Connery in the role for Goldfinger in 1964 and the DB5.
As well as ejector seat it also had machine guns, oil slick, bullet proof shield and revolving number plate
It quickly became one of the world’s most recognisable cars, solidifying Aston Martin’s place in both film and automotive history.
The DB12 Goldfinger Edition does not have any of those extras but does come equipped with features inspired by Bond
While the DB5 in Goldfinger was known for its gadgets, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition focuses on providing a luxurious driving experience.
It is painted in the same iconic Silver Birch colour of the DB5 on multi-spoke diamond-cut wheels black brake callipers, and gold side strakes.

A reusable rocket which launches payloads into space using a opening petal-like jaws once seen in a James Bond film, has been displayed. The Neutron is designed to handle satellite mega-constellations, deep space missions and astronaut even flights. It is capable of lifting eight tonnes into orbit and then returning to Earth for reuse after a minimal turnaround time. The 40 metre tall rocket has a thick, squat outline to provide it with a wide, stable base that lets it make powered landings without needing a deployable set of legs. Its low centre of gravity also means it doesn't need elaborate launch infrastructure like launch towers.Neutron has been created by US company Rocket Lab.The firm says it looked at how the needs of prospective customers have changed and incorporated those into the design. The hull of the craft is made out of an advanced carbon composite material that is stronger, lighter, and more durable than metal equivalents.

OPS: Render of the Neutron rocket opening it's petal-like maw to release its payload. In this case a satellite.
