    Thusa's Miraculous Steps To Recovery
A little girl left paralysed after being shot at her uncle's shop in London has been told that - against all the odds - she will walk again.

Thusha Kamaleswaran was just five years old when she was caught in the crossfire between two rival gangs.

Following the incident Nathaniel Grant was jailed for a minimum of 17 years, while two accomplices received 14 years each.

Meanwhile, Thusha's family were told that she was paralysed from the chest down and would never walk again

However, the now 7-year-old has now defied all of the odds and has taken her first steps on a treadmill while hooked up to a special harness.

And, with further intensive rehabilitation, doctors have said that Thusa will be able to walk again.
