A designer has created a unique jewellery range that places a 'miniature world' inside a clear-ring.
German-designer Isabell Kiefhabe spends several hours carefully creating miniature designs, which are encased in a see-through ring.
Isabell said: "I really like to place ordinary objects, that generally nobody pays attention to, into jewels. In addition, I add materials like gold-leaf, silver or pearls to make the pieces eye-catching."
In the pictures, tiny objects, such as an origami bird, a swimming scene and a mermaid can be seen encased inside a clear-ring.
The intricate work can take up to several hours to make one design.

Three weeks ago, Tori Takayesu got a call from the Maui Humane Society shelter about her lost cat, but she had no idea what they were talking about.
"I was like, 'What cat?'" said owner ToriTakayesu . "And they said, 'Oh, we have your tortoiseshell tabby, and she's fine, and we're waiting for you to come by.' But I hadn't had a cat in 15 years."
Takayesu figured the shelter had made a mistake, and that someone — the cat's real owner — would eventually claim her. But no one did, and the shelter kept calling Takayesu. Over the weekend, an animal control officer even visited Takayesu's house to remind her about the cat waiting at the shelter.
"They said it was a senior cat," Takayesu said. "I was concerned that nobody would adopt her, and she'd be euthanized or something. I didn't want that on my conscience, so I decided to pull her out, whomever she belonged to."
Four days after the initial call from the shelter, Takayesu went to collect the mystery cat. The staff delivered the cat to Takayesu in a carrier. When Takayesu opened it, she got the biggest surprise.
"I opened it up, and I was like, 'Oh my god! That's my cat,'" Takayesu said. "It was crazy." The cat turned out to be James, a female cat Takayesu and her family had owned 15 years ago. She was named after a character in her son's favorite show, Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. James the cat had first lived with the family in Kula, on the Hawaiian island of Maui, then moved with them 10 miles away to another part of Maui, Makawao.
"She was fine for a month [in Makawao] — she had the same routine," Takayesu said. "She'd come in at night, and during the day, she'd wander in and out. Then we noticed she didn't come in at night. We went looking for her and couldn't find her."
The family searched for a month, driving around each evening to look for her. They even went back to Kula, to see if she'd gotten disoriented and wandered back home.

His new pieces include a pixelated CCTV flower on the BFI building on Southbank, a pixelated character waving a paintbrush on The Arts Building in Finsbury Park and another critter holding a pint of beer in Walthamstow. Like fellow street artist Banksy, Invader guards his identity but his works have appeared in more than 65 cities in 33 countries.

A rescued baby hedgehog will never be able to attract a mate because of a mystery skin condition which has left her completely bald and without spines.
Betty was abandoned by her family before she was found by a member of the public and handed in to staff at an animal rescue centre.
Animal experts are baffled by her mystery skin condition, which has caused the lonely hedgehog's skin to become dry and left her without any spines.
Six-week-old Betty is now so scared of other hedgehogs that staff at the animal sanctuary believe she will never find a mate.
However, she cannot be returned to the wild because her lack
Tonia and John Garner, 47 and 52, who run Foxy Lodge rescue centre, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, revealed Betty will endure a lonely life unless her spines return.
Mum-of-one Tonia said: 'She's healthy and everything is absolutely fine apart from she doesn't have any spines.
'It's very sad because she cannot protect herself. She rolls up in a little ball but because she doesn't have the spines she is easy meat for any predator.
'We won't let Betty be with alone with the males. She is very frightened of being near other hedgehogs and any offspring could have the same genetic condition.
'We keep her alone in an enclosure indoors and I mix almond oil and tea tree oil to put on her back sometimes because her skin can get very dry.
'We have to keep her out of the sun because she can burn up as her skin is very sensitive. We just hope the spines will return so she can have a normal life.'

Hope the otter has every reason to be smiling after cheating death.
Just days ago the eight-week-old was found wandering alone along the roads of Exmoor near Winsford.
If she hadn't been found and rescued by a kind-hearted member of the public the seriously underweight cub would have perished.
After being looked after for the evening by her rescuer, Hope was then taken to the Secret World Wildlife Centre in Somerset.
According to the centre, when she was found the tiny animal was just half the weight she should have been for her age.
She was popped into an incubator for her first day and now spends her time eating and sleeping.
This rigorous routine means that she has now come on leaps and bounds.
Hope, who being an otter is a very sociable creature, even has a new best friend to snuggle up to in the form a cuddly toy.
It is hoped that, if the cheeky cub continues to improve, she will be released back into the wild next year.
