[Collect photo before he was injured , Mr January - James Magson. James was injured in Afghanistan by an IED which resulted in fractures and lacerations to his whole body including loss of teeth.
A war hero who lost an arm and both legs in Afghanistan is one of 12 brave injured squaddies who have posed for a charity fundraising calendar to raise money for their comrades. Marine Mark Ormrod, 27, enlisted the help of fellow servicemen who had been injured on the front line to appear in a series of poses showing the men getting on with their daily lives. Mne Ormrod, lost both legs and an arm in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan in 2007, but last year trekked across the United States. He said the calendar was devised to raise money for injured troops and show the positive spirit of those who suffered physical and mental problems serving on the front line. Mne Ormrod said: ''I was looking at some of the high spec calendars out there from the army and Royal Marines and thought it would be amazing if we could do something similar for the injured guys.] (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)
