Lennon's 'Eerie Prophecy' That Predicted His Violent Death
In 1966 the Beatles had achieved worldwide fame and a boyish John Lennon was venturing into the world of acting with a part in 'How I Won The War'.

However, even then the musician was scared of dying a 'violent' death and made an eerie prophecy that ultimately - and tragically - came true.

Photographer Zdenko Hirschler ventured into the blistering heat of the Andalusian resort of Almeria, in the south east corner of Spain, to interview Lennon on the set of the film.

He comments: "I arrived on location during a tea break. Lennon had a brick in one hand with a cup of tea and a sandwich in the other.

"'See', he told me, 'one does not have to be a star to get a sandwich and a tea (FOTO:DUKAS/REX)
