Jin fortunately escaped from the deadly mudslide on Aug. 8, 2010 in her grandparents' house, but lost her beloved parents, brother and sister forever who lived in Yueyuan Village as that catastrophe happened.
Now Jin and her grandparents, who both suffered from serious injury problems, knitted together in a low-rent house where many mudslide-affected people lived.
After entering primary school one year ago, Jin made new friends there and had more smiles on her face.
"I no longer cry these days and I won't make my grandparents cry," said the girl. (Xinhua/Liu Xiao) (jy) (ry)
