Here’s a home perfect for a rounded lifestyle—in the shape of a prefabricated dome.They range in size from 34 square metres, making a holiday home up to 300 square metres as a luxury permanent dwelling.The eco-friendly dwellings are the work of Russian company Skydome based in Moscow.There are currently six different models and all come fully prepared in kit form with detailed 3D assembly instructions.It does not have internal structure-bearing walls. This allows buyers to create individual layouts. There are more than 200 options of roofing colours and a huge selection of options for the interior.The Skydome supports over 700 kg of snow per square meter and is able to stand up to other weather as well as a traditional home. The curved walls provides energy efficiency, since it has a low rate of heat loss. Prices start at €45,250 Euros for a complete kit with insulation and in interior finishing for the smallest size rising to over €185,000 Euros for a three bed, three bath two storey layout.
