An all carbon fibre yacht able to reach 100 km/h has been designed to be a high speed water bus — or a fully kitted out private vessel.
The futuristic Palladio has two hybrid electric and hydrogen V8 engines with 1200 hp each powering water jets.
The carbon fibre construction makes it super light for its size.
In public transport mode, maybe for cruising waterways or taking tourists on mini sea cruises, it can carry to 25 passengers plus a pilot and crew.
The yacht by Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini said: “IT was mainly conceived for enclosed fast transportation and water mobility purposes, but it is not to be excluded as a private owner/leisure configuration.”
The front of the Palladio has a deliberate mouth-shaped design which has filtered air intakes’ on each side to constantly refresh the air inside the enclosed passenger compartment.

A stunning new concept superyacht is already a winning design — because it was inspired by the ultimate yachting competition.
The Plectrum is 74 meters long and is equipped with entending hydrofoils to propel it to a top speed of 70 knots / 130 km/h - unheard of for the class.
The hull shape takes its design cues from the sail boats competing in the prestigious Americas Cup which last took place in 2021.
The boats also use foils but to cut drag on the water while harnessing the wind.
The Plectrum moves and lifts above water surface pushed from three hydrogen powered motors each capable of 5000hp giving an incredible 15,000 hp in total.
The superyacht is the brainchild of Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini who has made a name for himself with spectacular, futuristic concepts
He said the Plectrum was conceived to be entirely composed of a carbon fibre composite making it strong but also super light.
The weight saving helps it achieve the incredible speed.

A futuristic designer has created a capsule capable of being used as an air taxi or super-fast aerofoil water transport. The Stratosfera Acquatica it's an ultra light carbon fibre sphere, 1.65 metres in diameter, with room for two passengers. The ocean-going version has an extendable foil, mounted in the lower part, with a low centre of gravity incorporating battery packs. The self balancing system that adapts and adjusts the inclination of the sphere while sailing and turning. It can fly through the water at speeds of up to 30 knots.Steering is done with a helicopter-like joystick. The same cockpit compartment can be adapted for different mobility solutions. This includes the Stratosfera Volatile. It is a four-engine flying car or taxi using rotary blades and again is all electric. The sphere construction and controls mirror those in the Acquatica. They are the work of Italy-based Pierpaolo Lazzarini

A supercar that grows a memory about a driver’s preferences and abilities has been unveiled. The Cyborg 001 is described as half human and half machine. It is fitted with contains a high-powered central processions unit.It backs up data directly from the driver’s preferences and vehicle set up.That includes how it is configured for the road to favourite seat positions and listening entertainment.Every time it is taken out, the car expands its knowledge of what the owner requires.Unlike other supercars which are mostly two seaters, this has room for four people making it more practical than many. The one off concept also uses an ultra light carbon chassis for strength and greater performance. It is the creation of Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini.
