Here’s a sandcastle which took more than a bucket and spade to build.It is officially the world’s tallest and features a stunning fair tale-like palace rising up on a hill top surrounded by a medieval urban sprawl.It took a team of 12 sculptors and eight technicians three and a half weeks, working eight hours a day, to complete. The team included sculptors from the Netherlands, Latvia, Poland, Russia and HungaryThey used 11,000 tonnes of sand mixed only with water. There were no other additives or internal support structure. The circular base diameter of the sandcastle measured approximately 26 metres.The complete sandcastle was 17.65 metres / 57 feet 11 inches tall, and was made in Binz, Germany, by Skulptura Projects,
